Our Approach
Astra aims to create a website that can be comfortably used by people with different needs, devices, and ways of accessing online content.
This includes working toward:
Clear and readable typography.
Sufficient contrast between text and backgrounds.
Logical page structure and navigation.
Responsive layouts across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
Descriptive links and understandable navigation labels.
Alternative text for meaningful images where appropriate.
Keyboard-friendly navigation where reasonably possible.
Avoiding unnecessary barriers caused by animation or interactive elements.
Motion and Animation
Astra may use animation and moving visual elements as part of its editorial design.
Where possible, these elements are designed so that they do not prevent visitors from accessing essential information or navigating the website.
Astra will continue to consider reduced-motion preferences and other accessibility needs when introducing new interactive features.
Images and Visual Content
Astra aims to provide alternative text for meaningful editorial images where appropriate.
Some decorative images may not include descriptive alternative text when they do not convey information necessary to understand the page.
Ongoing Improvements
Accessibility is an ongoing process.
As Astra grows and new articles, pages, features, and interactive elements are added, the website may continue to be reviewed and improved.
While every effort is made to provide an accessible experience, some areas may not yet fully meet every accessibility standard or individual requirement
